Here is the Morning MoJo Report for Wednesday, Sept. 5:

As of 7 a.m., traffic was a little sluggish on I-495 in both directions and I-270 southbound, but was running fine on all the other interstates throughout the area.

* The MARC Train, Light Rail, Metro Subway, Commuter Buses, and Local Bus Services are all running on time, according to the Maryland Transit Administration website, mta.maryland.gov/.

* The weather today is expected to be mostly cloudy with a high near 87 degrees. Showers are likely, with possibly a thunderstorm before 1 p.m., then a chance of showers mainly between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., winds around 6 miles per hour, and a 60 percent chance of precipitation, according to the National Weather Service's website, forecast.weather.gov. Tonight, it's expected to be partly cloudy with a low around 66 degrees and patchy fog after 5 a.m.
 
* Work to improve U.S. Alternate 40 and Poffenberger Road is under way, and Poffenberger Road is scheduled to close Tuesday between Garis Shop Road and Sharpsburg Pike (Md. 65). U.S. Alternate 40 may be reduced to one lane at times. Workers are assisting traffic there when needed.

* Antietam Street eastbound was to be closed from 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. between South Potomac Street and Renaissance Way for work on the Washington County Free Library Project, according to a traffic advisory from the City of Hagerstown's website, www.hagerstownmd.org.
