GOP unveiling headquarters

Washington County Republicans are holding a grand opening for their headquarters on Saturday.

The headquarters will be at 17 E. Oak Ridge Drive in Hagerstown.

The grand opening will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to the Washington County Republican Central Committee’s website.

As of last week, Washington County Democrats still were looking for space for a campaign headquarters, according to Elizabeth Paul, the chairwoman of the Washington County Democratic Central Committee.

Gysberts hosting campaign brunch

David Gysberts, a Democrat running for mayor of Hagerstown, is holding a brunch and dessert, with a cash bar, at Spin, 43 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, on Saturday. It will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
