A Martinsburg, W.Va., man died in a one-vehicle crash early Saturday on Interstate 70 west of Beaver Creek Road, according to Maryland State Police.

Witnesses said the vehicle had been swerving back and forth on the highway and traveling at a high rate of speed for some distance before swerving into the median, according to police.
