Man charged after stabbing in Boonsboro

BOONSBORO, Md. — A 19-year-old man is accused of injuring two people Saturday during a dispute in Boonsboro, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s office.

Tyler Michael Szarvas of Boonsboro is charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and concealing a dangerous weapon, the sheriff’s office said Saturday night.

A 20-year-old man who was stabbed several times in the incident was in serious condition at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore where he was flown for treatment, police said.

A female who was injured was treated at Meritus Medical Center and released, police said.

  Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 100 block of Orchard Manor Drive at 2:47 p.m. to investigate a reported domestic disturbance and found two people injured, police said.
