I. Faye (Terry) Warner Koons, 82, of Hagerstown, Md., died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Autumn Assisted Living, Hagerstown.

Born July 22, 1930, in West Fork, Ark., she was the daughter of the late John Edward and Naomi Emiline (Hobbs) Terry.

She was the wife of 25 years to Donald Robert Koons, Hagerstown, whom she married Nov. 22, 1986.

Faye retired from Montgomery Ward, Hagerstown, where she worked in the jewelry department for more than 23 years

She was a member of The Good Shepherd Ministries, Hagerstown.

She was a devoted mother and wife who loved to cook and entertain. She had a passion for music, and enjoyed playing several instruments and singing in various choirs. She had a deep-seated faith and was willing to share her faith with others.

Faye is survived by two daughters, Terri L. Narron and husband, John, of Big Cove Tannery, Pa., and Sally L. Lewis and husband, William, of York, Pa.; one son, Mark W. Warner and wife, Zora, of Hagerstown; two stepchildren, Robert H. Koons of Big Pool, Md., and Lisa A. White and husband, Lloyd, of Clear Spring, Md.; one sister, Uldine E. Johnson of Springfield, Mo.; three grandchildren, Leslie A Light, Brandon W. Light and Amy N. Lewis; three stepgrandchildren, Carly Chambers, Matthew Chambers and Felicia Koons Scott and her husband, Jeremy; and two great-grandsons, Nicholas W. Rohrbaugh and Lucas Scott.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth W. Warner; and four brothers, Dale Terry, Millard R. Terry, Wayne J. Terry and Doyle C. Terry.

The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, at The Good Shepherd Ministries, Hagerstown. The Rev. Jeffrey Casto will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.

The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Good Shepherd Ministries, 19763 Longmeadow Road, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
