Walter Milton Stuller, 89, of 21109 Leitersburg Pike in Hagerstown, Md., passed away Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at his home.

Born Friday, Sept. 15, 1922, in Rouzerville, Pa., he was the son of the late John W. and Margie (Ferguson) Stuller.

He was employed through the Carpenters and Joiners Union Local 340 since 1950.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of the Blue Mountain Church of God, Morris Frock American Legion Post 42 and the National Rifle Association.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting mushrooms.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mary Dales Stuller; daughter, Eula M. Morgan and husband, Paul, of McLean, Va.; sons, Donald M. Stuller of Hagerstown, and David E. Stuller and fiancée, Kim, of Mapleville, Md.; sisters, Mary S. Miller, Irene S. Dunkin and Martha S. Coover, all of Smithsburg, Md.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. His first granddaughter, Donna Stuller Fidler, was always there and had a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Wilbur C. Stuller and John Stuller; and sister, Betty Bell.

Services will be Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, with the Rev. Jim Hay officiating. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery, Cascade, Md.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
