WHS Class of 1957 plans 55th reunion

The Williamsport High School Class of 1957 will hold its 55-year reunion Saturday, Sept. 15, from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Hagerstown.

Cost is $45 per couple.

Pete Jessop Memorial Golf Tournament set

The fifth annual Charles “Pete” Jessop Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29, at Greencastle (Pa.) Greens Golf Course.

A shotgun start will be at 9 a.m.

The entry fee costs $65 per golfer.

WHS Class of 1958 planning reunion

Williamsport High School Class of 1958 will meet for its annual dinner at Western Sizzlin’ steakhouse, 17567 York Road, Saturday, Sept. 22, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Harvest Hoedown seeking vendors

Harvest Hoedown organizers are seeking vendors for the event that will take place Saturday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Byron Memorial Park.

Vendor space is available for a $30 donation to the Williamsport Food Bank.

“Bring Back the Rat” T-shirts are for sale at Town Hall. They cost $10 each. Sales benefit Williamsport charities.

WHS Athletic Boosters gearing up for season

The Williamsport High School Athletic Boosters are gearing up for the new school year. New memberships are now being accepted. Membership costs $5 per family or $3 per individual.

The boosters also invite local businesses to advertise in their athletic program.

Prices are based on the size of the ad. Parents of senior athletes can highlight their child’s athletic performance at WHS by reserving space for a senior acknowledgment ad in the athletic program.

New additions to the athletic program this year are best wishes ads, which are brief statements wishing a student-athlete good luck in their upcoming season. Wildcat spirit wear, seat cushions and new Wildcat sports car decals are also available.
