Western Heights Middle — Family Life parent meeting in media center, 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 28

Clear Spring Middle — Back-to-school night for grades seven and eight, 6 p.m.

Smithsburg Middle — Meet- the-teacher night for grades seven and eight, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Springfield Middle — Back-to-school night for grade seven, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Western Heights Middle — Eighth-grade vision screenings

Wednesday, Aug. 29

Boonsboro High — Meet the Warriors in gym, 7 p.m.

Smithsburg Middle — Meet- the-teacher night for grade six, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

South Hagerstown High — Back-to-school night in auditorium, 6:30 p.m.; magnet/academies/special programs dinner in cafeteria, 5:30 p.m.

Springfield Middle — Eighth- grade vision screenings

Williamsport High — Meet- the-teacher night, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 30

Springfield Middle — Back-to-school night for grade eight, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 31

Clear Spring Middle — Back-to-school kickoff dance, 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Springfield Middle — Where Everyone Belongs dance for grades six and eight, 2:30 to 4 p.m.
