Grimm scores 4 goals in Lions' win

Andrew Grimm scored four goals to lead Broadfording Christian Academy to a 5-1 victory over Cumberland Valley Christian School in Mason Dixon Christian Conference action Friday.

Ben Cradduck also scored for the Lions.

Jason Walker scored for CVCS.

Faith 3, Grace 1

Anthony Adams scored two goals to lead Faith Christian past Grace Academy in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference.

Derek Peter also scored for the Falcons.

Joe Kim scored on an assist by Nathan Brazil for the Knights.


Grace 3, Faith 1

Heather Groves had 15 assists, five kills and five aces for Grace Academy in a 19-25, 25-18, 25-12, 25-18 Mason Dixon Christian Conference victory over Faith Christian.

Caitlin Cox had nine kills and nine assists, Brooke Morgan had nine kills, Gracie Buser had 14 service points and four blocks, Allie Cox had five kills and 16 digs and Jessica Gladhill had 13 service points for the Knights.

Michele Brooks had five aces and nine digs, Bethany Williams had five kills and Olivia Stoddard had five blocks for the Falcons (0-2).

Heritage 3, Calvary 0

CRESAPTOWN, Md. — Kara Stamper had 17 kills, six blocks, 10 digs and three aces to lead Heritage Academy in a 25-17, 25-13, 25-20 sweep of Calvary Christian Academy in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference.

Chloe Prejean had 19 assists, nine service points and four aces, Hannah Gaylor had 13 service points, Nicole Gaylor had 10 digs and Christi Jackson had four blocks and two kills for the Eagles (2-0).

Shalom 3, New Life 0

MARION, Pa. — Tori Yoder had 11 kills, 10 digs and four aces to lead Shalom Christian Academy to a season opening 25-16, 25-20, 25-15 sweep of New Life Christian Academy in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference.

Kristen Blank had 12 assists, Brooke Poe had four kills and a block, Kasey Ebersole had five assists and Steph Bricker had eight digs for the Flames (1-0).


Hedgesville 5, Frankfort 2

RIDGELEY, W.Va. — Heather LeMaster had two goals and Ciara Secola, Maddy Foster and Misha Awad each had one for Hedgesville in the victory Thursday.

Bianca Creamer had 14 saves for the Eagles, who outshot Frankfort 32-15.
