2. Get lost in the cornfield for charity

Hagerstown Corn Maze will open Saturday, Sept. 1, at Celebration Farm, 17638 Garden View Road, Hagerstown. Three mazes: Heart of the Civil War, Hagerstown Suns and Home Run the Movie. 5 to 10 p.m. Fridays, noon to 10 p.m. Saturdays; noon to 5 p.m. Sundays in September and October. Bring a flashlight for the moonlight maze. $6; $3, ages 5 to 12; and free for children 4 and younger. All profits from the Hagerstown Corn Maze are donated to local faith-based nonprofits. 3. Getting your lawn ready for fall

Washington County Master Gardeners will discuss fall lawn care from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 1, at Hagerstown City Farmers' Market, 25 W. Church St., Hagerstown. 4. Midweek gospel concert

5. Walking in nature

The Potomac Valley Audubon Society will sponsor a wetland nature walk led by Carol del Colle and Bruni Haydl. The walk will take between 90 minutes and 2 hours. No pets will be permitted.
