Ginger Rogers (Hill) Samuels, 76, of Hagerstown, Md., died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.

Born March 20, 1936, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Leon and Inez Marie (Brown) Hill.

Ginger was employed by Fairchild Inc. in Hagerstown, where she assembled airplane parts.

She was a member of Ebenezer A.M.E. Church in Hagerstown.

Ginger is survived by two daughters, Crystal L. Keys of Columbia, Md., and Thelma I. Wells of Hagerstown; one brother, Earlston Hill of Philadelphia, Pa.; three sisters, Isabelle Johnson, Geraldine Hester and Patricia Johnson, all of Hagerstown; two grandchildren, Tabitha Keys of Bowie, Md., and Montague Sutherland of Hagerstown; and five great-grandchildren, one of whom she raised, Te-Monni Gardner of Hagerstown.

The funeral service will be Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, Hagerstown. The Rev. Leroy Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.

Visitation will be Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown.
