Local businesses urged to embrace their niche

BOONSBORO — The guest speaker at the Boonsboro Economic Development Commission’s July 20 networking breakfast inspired local businesses to embrace their niche and thrive in a challenging market.

Lester S. “Casey” Willson is the retail industry and sustainability program manager at the Lead Center of the Maryland Small Business Development Center Network at the University of Maryland’s College Park campus. He brings almost 40 years of experience to helping small businesses refine and promote their concepts to the public. 

The Boonsboro EDC hosts networking breakfasts every other third Friday.
