Proud parents Stephen and Charlene Owings and their daughter, Stephanie, would like to share their family pride. In July, C.J. Owings, a 2012 North High graduate, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Robert “Turtle” Smith Baseball Scholarship fund at the Washington County Sports Hall of Fame’s annual banquet.

He was nominated by his North High baseball coach, Drew Crawford.

C.J. will continue his baseball career this fall at Hagerstown Community College.
