Ms. Donna Mae Dudenhoeffer Gahan, 67, of Greencastle, Pa., died Friday evening, Aug. 3, 2012, at her residence.
Born June 25, 1945, in St. Louis, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Jacob J. and Nelda Voss Dudenhoeffer.
Donna worked at Brook Lane, Hagerstown, for nearly 20 years.
She was an active member of St. Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Greencastle.
Surviving are her sons, Jeff Gahan and wife, Carole, of St. Thomas, and Jason Gahan and wife, Melinda, of Waynesboro, Pa.; six grandchildren; brothers, Ronald and wife Diane, and Dennis Dudenhoeffer and wife, Mary, all of St. Louis; her sister-in-law, Kathy Dudenhoeffer of Indianapolis, Ind.; her former spouse, John M. Gahan of Falling Waters, W.Va.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Dudenhoeffer.
The family will receive friends at Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 10 a.m. at her church, St. Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 385 S. Ridge Ave., Greencastle.
Her pastor, the Rev. Joseph L. Stahura, will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
