Thomas Eugene Lark, 59, of Walnut Point Road in Hagerstown, Md., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at his home.

Born Oct. 22, 1952, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of the late Roy Thomas Lark and Mary Catherine Sager Lark.

He was employed by Maryland Metals of Hagerstown.

Tom enjoyed fishing, crabbing and riding his Harley.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Vickie Jean Stroupe Lark of Hagerstown; a daughter, Traci Jean Lark of Chambersburg, Pa.; two sons, Thomas Alan Lark of Waynesboro, Pa., and Michael Eugene Lark of Hagerstown; two sisters, Ellen Weller of Big Pool and Mary Shirley of Hagerstown; one brother, Charles Lark of Falling Waters, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Boyce Ferguson, and Bradley, Breanne and Cody Lark; one great-grandson, Emmitt Churches; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, William "Bill" Lark.

Services will be Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring, Md. The Rev. Mark Snyder will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. For the convenience of friends, you may visit the funeral home after noon.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Clear Spring.
