Hustontown man found dead along side of Iron Bridge Road

HUSTONTOWN, Pa. — A Hustontown man was found dead along the side of Iron Bridge Road on Saturday morning with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The 38-year-old man was found at about 8:20 a.m. along Iron Bridge Road in Taylor Township in Fulton County, according to a news release from state police.

Troopers said Fulton County Deputy Coroner Brian Barton pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Everett, Pa., man charged with driving under the influence

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — An Everett, Pa., man was charged with driving under the influence after he was found sleeping in a running vehicle early Saturday, Pennsylvania State Police said.

John Allen Garner, 28, was found in the vehicle at about 2:50 a.m. while it was parked on an exit ramp off Interstate 70 west, according to a news release from state police.

Troopers said the incident occurred in Brush Creek Township at the 156-mile marker.
