Washington County Ag Expo
The annual Washington County Ag Expo & Fair features a variety of events for people of all ages. Today through Saturday, July 28. Day in the Park
Event features a re-enactment of the Battle of Funkstown. Today’s activities include troops foraging for food at 9 a.m.; street battle at 10 a.m.; Battle of Funkstown at 4 p.m.; performances by the 97th Regimental String Band, various times and places; and fireworks at dusk. Sunday’s activities include breakfast and lunch sold by Funkstown Fire Co., and the final field battle at 1 p.m. at Funkstown Park. For information, go to www.battle-of-funkstown.com.


C&O Canal

Pry House event
Hands-on activities and programs will focus on how children lived during the mid-19th century. Staff and children dressed in period attire will lead games and a craft.
