Potter named to Pa. craftsmen's guild

Michael Price McIntyre, owner of FireRobin Farm Pottery, was recently named a juried member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen. A committee of master craftsmen awarded McIntyre juried status based on critical review of excellence in craftsmanship, resolved design and style or unique voice.

McIntyre began working in ceramics in 2005. He focuses on creating artful, functional pieces for everyday use.

McIntyre regularly exhibits in regional craft shows. He is a member of the Cumberland Valley Chapter of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen and the Potters’ Guild of Frederick.

McIntyre’s studio, FireRobin Farm Pottery, is at 21708 Ringgold Pike in Hagerstown. The gallery is open noon to 4 p.m. Sundays, with other hours by chance or appointment. For more information, go to www.firerobinfarm.com or call 240-446-8217.
