Alsips to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Sylvia (Ocker) and Lawrence N. Alsip Jr. of Maugansville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 28.

They have been longtime residents of Maugansville. In their retirement, they have enjoyed traveling, camping, gardening and spending time with their grandchildren.

Lawrence is a member of the Ruritan Club, and both he and Sylvia help with various club events.

Congratulations to you both as you celebrate your golden anniversary.
