 The diamond dove is sometimes known as the little dove or little turtle dove. One male and one female, sweet young birds. It's hard, though, to tell them apart. They make very sweet cooing sounds to one another. This pair can only be adopted together.

Love Bird and Scooter, along with many other animals are available for adoption at The Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Road, Hagerstown. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Animal visitation begins at 10 a.m. daily. Closed on Sunday.
