A Washington County man who already is charged after he allegedly fired multiple shots at his wife and mother-in-law on July 12 on Saint George Circle is facing additional counts in an incident that occurred after the shooting at Stadium Grill and Tavern on South Cannon Avenue, police said Thursday.

Jamie Hiler Wainwright, 37, of 10106 Saint George Circle in Saint James Village North, is facing additional charges of first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, handgun on person and peace order: fail to comply, according to Detective Sgt. Greg Alton of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Wainwright was being held without bond in one of the cases, and was being held on $350,000 bond in the other case Thursday night at the Washington County Detention Center, a jail spokesman said.

Wainwright initially was charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of attempted second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, two counts of reckless endangerment, and one count each of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, wearing a handgun, transporting a handgun in a vehicle, illegal possession of a regulated firearm and possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, according to the sheriff’s office.

On July 12 at about 10:30 p.m., Wainwright entered a house on Saint George Circle where his children, estranged wife and mother-in-law were, Assistant State’s Attorney Michele Hansen said. He entered the bedroom, where Mandy Wainwright and Kristy Sacchet were on the bed watching television, Hansen said.

Wainwright, who had a handgun, fired at the women, and police found seven spent shell casings in the bedroom, according to a charging document.

After the shooting, Wainwright went to Stadium Grill and Tavern looking for a man who has a peace order against Wainwright, Alton said.

One of the conditions of the order is that Wainwright is prohibited from entering Stadium Grill and Tavern, Alton said.

Surveillance video showed Wainwright entering the tavern, displaying a handgun and asking if the man was working, Alton said.
