Westbound I-70 now open following accident involving a tractor-trailer

Both lanes of westbound Interstate 70 in the Clear Spring area are now open following a tractor-trailer crash, according to a Washington County 911 spokeswoman.

The tractor-trailer struck a guardrail along the interstate but there were no injuries, the spokeswoman said.

The crash occurred around the 15 mile marker and the accident immediately caused westbound traffic to become congested, officials said.
