CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. — Tiffany E. Lawrence will join the staff of the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle effective Aug. 20, the agency announced Wednesday.
Lawrence, currently marketing and public relations manager at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races, will become director of resource development and marketing.
She replaces Vicki Shean, who recently relocated to the Eastern Panhandle Free Clinic in a similar position, according to a news release.
Lawrence earned her bachelor’s degree at Shepherd University and her master’s of business administration from Shenandoah University.
Lawrence serves as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, and has a lengthy background in public, community and volunteer service.
While at Charles Town Races, she managed community and public relations events and fundraisers, and oversaw the charitable contributions to many local nonprofits, including the United Way and its partner organizations.
