Money stolen from Pa. business

SCOTLAND, Pa. — Money was stolen from a cash register at the Beauty Bar at 3055 Black Gap Road earlier this month, according to a news release from Pennsylvania State Police.

State police said “miscellaneous” currency was stolen in the theft that occurred between July 4 and 5.

Anyone with information about the theft may call state police at 717-264-5161.

Semiautomatic pistol stolen from pickup

GREENCASTLE, Pa. — A .32-caliber Davis Industries semiautomatic pistol was stolen from a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck last week while it was parked at the victim’s home in the 1100 block of Olive Drive, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The pistol, which was stolen between July 11 and 12, was also loaded with five rounds of ammunition, state police said.

The pistol has rosewood grips, a silver slide and a serial number of PO18619, police said.

Computer, camera and cash stolen from vehicle

SCOTLAND, Pa. — A laptop computer valued at $200, a digital camera valued at $150 and $70 in cash were stolen from a vehicle while it was parked in a driveway in the 3700 block of Mountain Shadow Circle last week, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The items were stolen between Thursday and Friday, state police said.

Money stolen from truck

MERCERSBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police said $200 was stolen from a truck in the 9700 block of Harrytown Road on Friday.

The money was stolen between 6 and 8 a.m., police said.
