Two teenagers killed, two others seriously injured in Fulton County crash

WELLS TANNERY, Pa. — Two Fulton County, Pa., teenagers were killed and two others suffered major injuries Tuesday morning when the car in which they were riding went off the roadway and struck several trees on Pa. 915 in Wells Township, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Bryant Andrew White, 18, of 4275 N. Valley Road in Wells Tannery, and Cody Gracey, 17, of Hustontown, Pa., were killed in the crash, according to Fulton County Coroner Berley Souders and state police.

Cheyenne Nicole Hege, 18, of 4917 Cito Road in McConnellsburg, Pa., and William Joseph Hess, 19, of 32132 Great Cove Road in Fort Littleton, Pa., were flown to Altoona Regional Health System in Altoona, Pa., to be treated for major injuries, state police said in a news release.

Souders said Tuesday night that Hege was taken to UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh and Hess was still being treated at Altoona.

Hege was listed in critical condition Wednesday morning, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Troopers said the 2000 Mercury Cougar that White was driving was traveling south on Pa. 915 in rural Fulton County at about 1:30 a.m. when the vehicle left the roadway, slid through a grassy field and struck several trees. Police said the car came to rest against a tree.
White and Gracey, who were pronounced dead at the scene, died of blunt force trauma, Souders said.

None of the occupants was wearing a seat belt, according to the release.

The Hustontown Fire Department/EMS and Rayston EMS assisted at the scene.
