Mildred F. Weller, 97, of Foxville-Deerfield Road, Foxville, Md., passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Julia Manor Healthcare of Hagerstown.

Born June 30, 1915, near Foxville, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Allen and Leacy Rea (Toms) Buhrman.

She attended Foxville School.

She was employed over the years by Moller Organ Co. of Hagerstown, Hagerstown Laundry and Hoke Furniture Factory of Thurmont, Md.

She was a life member of Mount Moriah Lutheran Church of Foxville. She taught Sunday school for 70 years, was a Girl Scout leader for eight years, and was involved with the Sabillasville Civic Organization for 25 years. Her hobbies included sewing, bird-watching, working puzzles and reading.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Leo F. Weller, whom she married April 9, 1955; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Olive Bowman; four brothers, Jessie Buhrman, Roger Buhrman, Francis Buhrman and Leslie Buhrman; and one niece, Nancy Wolfe.

Services will be Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Mount Moriah Lutheran Church, Foxville. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Lutheran Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, Md.
