Mark S. Giberson, 56

Mark Stephen Giberson, 56, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at his home in Hagerstown, Md.

He was born in Camden, N.J., Friday, Jan. 13, 1956.

He studied at Susquehanna University.

A retired carpenter and general handyman, Mark also played guitar for 35 years, most recently at Covenant Life Church for the praise team. As an avid motorcyclist, he was involved with Christian Motorcycle Association and Road Riders for Jesus. He was a member of Covenant Life Church, involved in the men's ministry and prayer team.

Mark is survived by his wife, Tamara Lynn Hart Giberson; son, Matthew Scott Giberson and his wife, Angela Veltraino Giberson; and stepdaughters, Jennifer Burker and Emily Burker. Also surviving are his mother, Lois Catherin (Moran) Giberson; sister, Cheryle Lee Giberson; nephew, Michael Nicol; niece, Rhyanna Nicol; and uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Lee Eric Giberson; and brother, Kurt Eric Giberson.

A memorial service will be held at Covenant Life Church, 1515 Dual Highway, Hagerstown, Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. Pastor Tim Fisher will be officiating.
