The Rotary Club of Long Meadows raised more than $11,000 at its third annual wine, cheese and chocolate fundraiser auction.

The proceeds benefited the Community Free Clinic and several other local nonprofits. A major contributor to the fundraising effort was Rider Jet Center, which donated several airplane rides to the live auction.

John Uka, the owner of the Hagerstown Clarion, hosted the fundraising event at the hotel.

Rotary International is global network of community volunteers who believe that donating their services can make communities better.
