Sunrise Rotary honors three groups for vocational service

Sunrise Rotary recently presented its annual vocational service awards to three groups — Horizon Goodwill Industries, Arc of Washington County and HBP Inc.

Horizon Goodwill Industries was recognized for its exemplary service to the community through training, employment and job placement for disadvantaged and disabled individuals. 

Arc of Washington County was recognized for its exemplary support and guidance for challenged individuals. It creates a partnership and business opportunities enabling individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live with dignity in a caring environment.

HBP was recognized for its partnership with Horizon Goodwill industries in employing Goodwill trainees and clients as a flexible work force. In so doing, HBP provides challenged individuals with a chance to contribute and take pride in gainful employment.
