Windows smashed at Leitersburg fire company

LEITERSBURG — Authorities reported Thursday morning that about six windows were smashed at the Leitersburg Volunteer Fire Co. activities center, Maryland State Police said.

At about 11:30 a.m., fire department officials noticed the windows on the lower part of the building along Leitersburg Pike had been broken, Trooper 1st Class James Bowers said.

Anyone with information about the crimes may call police at 301-739-2102.
