Virginia Mae Morgan, 81, of Boonsboro, Md., passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, at her home.

Born July 24, 1930, in Boonsboro, she was the daughter of the late Alvey William and Mildred May Hutzell Reid.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne W. Morgan, in 2008.

She was a graduate of Boonsboro High School.

She was employed with Dutch Maid Clothing Inc. of Ephrata, Pa., and by Fay Swafford Pocketbooks for 41 years, as a clothing demonstrator on the party plan until her retirement.

She was a member of Mount Nebo United Methodist Church, Boonsboro.

Virginia loved traveling, playing cards, bingo, eating out and looking in on the sick. She had many friends and was loved by all. She loved meeting new people. Virginia lived for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her much joy.

Survivors include son, Steven W. Morgan and his wife, Gwen, of Boonsboro; daughter, Sherry L. Martin and her husband, Roscoe, of Rohrersville, Md.; son, Russell W. Morgan and his companion, Tammy Love, of Keedysville, Md.; granddaughter, Jesse L. Osborne of Williamsport, Md.; granddaughter, Chandra L. Morgan of Keedysville; grandson, J. Mark Stine of Boonsboro; grandson, Brian K. Stine of Sharpsburg, Md.; grandson, Derek R. Morgan of Fredericksburg, Va.; grandson, Kevin D. Martin of Fredericksburg; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by one brother, Donald L. Reid.

The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Wednesday, June 27, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 1 p.m. Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Thursday, June 28, 2012, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ray Roberson and the Rev. Robert G. Brennan Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
