Dolores “Dee” Ingram Miller, 84, of Johnstown, N.Y., passed away June 17, 2012, at Wells Nursing Home in Johnstown, after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis.

Born Dec. 19, 1927, in Hancock, Md., she was predeceased by her parents, John and Virginia French Ingram; her sister, Barbara Francis; and her brother, John Ingram.

After high school, she worked for her father’s business and Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown, Md. As a dedicated mother and homemaker, she resided in Hagerstown; Middletown, Conn., Battle Creek, Mich., and Johnstown.

Her abiding interests included golf, antiques, volunteering at local nursing homes, garden club and flower arranging, gourmet cooking and entertaining, and music by Frank Sinatra.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Miller of Swanzey, N.H.; son, Ralph “Lance” Miller of Amsterdam, N.Y.; son, Jon Miller of Johnstown; grandchildren, Michael Miller, John Miller, Julie Theurer, Allison Miller, Ellen Miller and Tommy Miller; and great-grandchildren, John Miller Jr. and Audrey Theurer.

In keeping with Dolores’ wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
