Hagerstown Rotary Foundation distributes grants to community groups

Hagerstown Rotary Foundation President Frank Erck, far right, spoke to a crowd of more than 200 people. $54,371 were given in grants to the organizations out of roughly $67,000 raised through three fundraising events, Erck said. About $8,000 went back to the Rotary Club. The rest of the money will be distributed to other organizations throughout the year, Erck said.
