Area students graduate from St. Mary's College

ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. — The following area students recently were awarded Bachelor of Arts degrees from St. Mary’s College of Maryland:

• Ryan Bass of Frederick, Md., graduated with a major in history.

• Lauren Bennett of Frederick graduated with a major in anthropology. Bennett also earned a minor in religious studies.

• Allyson Bloom of Frederick graduated magna cum laude with a major in public policy studies. Bloom also earned a minor in sociology.

• Hannah Boward of Hagerstown graduated magna cum laude with a major in human studies. Boward also earned a minor in Spanish.

• Jacqueline Brady of Thurmont, Md., graduated summa cum laude with a major in biology.

• Sarah Brown of Rohrersville graduated with a major in biology. Brown also earned a minor in African and African Diaspora studies.

• Patricia Byers of Hagerstown graduated with a major in anthropology. Byers also earned a minor in museum studies.

• Zachary Copley of Hagerstown graduated cum laude with majors in art and computer science.

• Allison Crawford of Frederick graduated magna cum laude with majors in English and theater, film and media studies.

• Sarah Duke of Mount Airy, Md., graduated summa cum laude with majors in sociology and psychology.

• Tessa Endter of Middletown, Md., graduated with a major in anthropology.

• Lyndsay Fournier of Mount Airy, Md., graduated magna cum laude with a major in biochemistry.

• Jennifer Kunze of Frederick, who was a Nitze Scholar and elected to Phi Beta Kappa, graduated summa cum laude with majors in mathematics and history.

• Briana Manente of Frederick graduated magna cum laude with majors in theater, film and media studies and psychology.

• Chelsea McKnight of Frederick graduated with a major in human studies.

• Jennifer Metz of Myersville, Md., graduated with a major in art.

• Lauren Metz of Hagerstown graduated magna cum laude with a major in political science.

• Caitlyn O’Flaherty of Mount Airy, elected to Phi Beta Kappa, graduated magna cum laude with a major in English. O’Flaherty also earned a minor in religious studies.

• Brendan Oster of Mount Airy graduated with majors in public policy and sociology. Oster also earned a minor in environmental science.

• Kevin Paul of Frederick graduated with a major in human studies.

• Kristin Rolfs of Union Bridge, Md., graduated cum laude with a major in psychology. Rolfs also earned minors in mathematics and philosophy.

• Thomas Sager of Mount Airy graduated with a major in economics. Sager also earned a minor in anthropology.

• Jessica Schroeder of Jefferson, Md., graduated cum laude with a major in anthropology. Schroeder also earned minors in Latin American studies and museum studies.

• Katherine Serfling of Frederick graduated with a major in psychology.

• Alan Sokol of Hagerstown graduated with a major in computer science.

• Travis Tracy of Boonsboro graduated with a major in biology.

• Jonathan Wagner of Mount Airy graduated magna cum laude with a major in English. Wagner also earned minors in theater studies, educational studies and music.

• Anna Weaver of Mount Airy graduated cum laude with majors in biochemistry and biology.
