2. Canal Family Reunion
Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park hosts the fourth annual Canal Family Reunion, with descendants of canal-boat families telling stories of life along the canal. 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 23, by the watered portion of the C&O Canal between Pennsylvania and Church streets, Hancock. 3. Film fest

A showcase of work from some of the country’s best new playwrights. Four plays will be presented and the audience will vote on favorites.
