1. World music
Native Deen, shown, David Wilcox and other musicians will perform during the Unity Music Festival. 2. Canal Family Reunion
Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park hosts the fourth annual Canal Family Reunion, with descendants of canal-boat families telling stories of life along the canal. 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 23, by the watered portion of the C&O Canal between Pennsylvania and Church streets, Hancock. 3. Film fest
International movies, with features, animation and short films, plus films by local students and film-making teams. 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 23, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at Weinberg Center for the Arts, 20 W. 4. Original plays
A showcase of work from some of the country’s best new playwrights. Four plays will be presented and the audience will vote on favorites.
