Three generations join Sons of Confederate Veterans chapter

CLEAR SPRING — The Battle of Sharpsburg Camp 1582, Sons of Confederate Veterans, swore in three generations of Sprechers on May 26 at the grave dedication ceremony of their ancestor, Godfrey Funkhouser, Sgt., Co. K, 33rd Virginia Infantry, at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Clear Spring.
