2. Father's Day event

Hagerstown Aviation Museum presents an open airplane afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Hagerstown Aircraft Services, 14235 Oaks Springs Road, north of Hagers-town. Museum aircraft will be open to the public. Free admission; donations accepted. Go to www.hagerstownaviationmuseum.org.



3. Concert in the park

Ron Reynolds and Randy Simpson, pictured, & the Brothers will perform at 7 p.m.  Sunday, June 17, at Chambersburg Memorial Park Kiwansis Band Shell, off East McKinley Street and Stouffer Avenue, Chambersburg.  Free will offering. If it rains, concert is moved to Chambersburg Area Middle School.



4. Last clash

Tom McGrath will discuss and sign his book, "Shepherdstown: Last Clash of the Antietam Campaign September 19-20, 1862" at  2 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Antietam National Battlefield, Visitor Center, off Sharpsburg Pike, Sharpsburg. Go to www.nps.gov/anti.




5. Civil War music

Hagerstown Municipal Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Peter Buys Band Shell, City Park, Virginia Avenue, Hagerstown. Marlin Barnes will be the soloist with the addition of fifes.
