Helen Mae Faith, 74, of Clear Spring, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown, Md.

Born July 5, 1937, in Chambersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of Helen Viola Reeder Robinson of Mercersburg, Pa., and the late Melvin E. Robinson.

Helen was a lifetime member of Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, where she served on the church council and frequently supported the needs of the church and the members in any capacity.

She was a 1955 graduate of James Buchannan High School in Mercersburg, where she and her twin sister were very athletic on the basketball team. She was very devoted to her high school class and organized many reunions. Helen supported her children and other students at Clear Spring High School on numerous band trips.

She retired after 31 years from Corning Glass Works at Greencastle, Pa. She was a member of Mercersburg Moose Lodge 830.

Helen was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her mother, Helen is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Joseph Dale Faith of Clear Spring. They were married April 8, 1956. They were blessed with two daughters, Yvonne J. Belt and husband, Norris, of Clear Spring, and Jolene M. Hebb and husband, Gray, of Clear Spring. Also surviving is a sister, Shirley Brown of Mansfield, Ohio; three grandchildren, Amber Mirra, Lauren Belt and Madison Hebb; one great-grandson, Cason Mirra; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Hazel Pittman; and sister, Catherine Pittman.

Services will be held Saturday, June 16, at 10 a.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring. The Revs. W. Allen Reed and Ron Faith will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery of Clear Spring.

The family will receive friends at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc. on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. For the convenience of friends, you may visit the funeral home after noon.

Memorial donations may be made to Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, c/o Donna Spickler, 30 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, MD 21795.

Arrangements were entrusted to Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Clear Spring.
