BPW yard sale
The Hagerstown Business & Professional Women’s Club will hold a yard sale Saturday, June 23, from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 17815 Garden View Road in Maugansville. Housewares, books, jewelry, clothes and miscellaneous items will be sold.
Proceeds will benefit the club’s scholarship program and community projects.
Salem Reformed Church will hold a festival Wednesday, June 20, beginning at 5 p.m. in the Family Life Center.
Homemade chicken corn, chicken noodle and bean soups, country ham sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, steamers and hot dogs, salads, cakes and pies will be for sale. The church is on Salem Church Road, off Cearfoss Pike.
Vacation Bible school gets under way today
Shiloh United Methodist Church, 19731 Shiloh Church Road in Hagerstown), will hold its vacation Bible school today through Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
There will be a free dinner each day at 5 p.m.
It will include learning about Jesus, crafts, snacks, music and other activities.
Also, all children will receive a coupon for free karate lessons for one month. Those ages 13 and younger are invited.

BHS 77 class reunion meeting
The Boonsboro High Class of 1977 will hold its next class reunion meeting Tuesday, June 19 at 6 p.m. at Battleview Market on Sharpsburg Pike. It is owned by classmate Peggy (Burgan) Myers.
It will be a dinner meeting.
The class is planning for its 35th reunion, which will be Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Elks Lodge in Hagerstown.
