Edgar Maurice Foltz Jr., 83, of Williamsport Pike, Greencastle, Pa., departed to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Quincy Village, Quincy, Pa.
Born July 7, 1928, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late Edgar M. Foltz Sr. and Margaret B. Bailey Foltz.
He was a 1947 graduate of Hagerstown High School. He attended Hagerstown Junior College.
He served in the U.S. Armyduring the Korean War from 1950 to 1952.
He retired in 1991 fromMack Trucks Inc.after 29 years of service, working part of that time in quality control and the last seven years in shop control. After retirement from Mack, he worked part time at Martin’s Food Market in Hagerstown as a customer courtesy clerk.
He loved God, his devoted wife, Imogene, and his neighbors. He dearly loved his nine children, and other family members and fellow saints.
Edgar was a member of the Church of God of Mercersburg, Pa., where he taught Sunday school, served as trustee for 12 years, and also served as a choir member and special singer into his senior years.
