Franklin County (Pa.) Commissioners hires new chief information officer

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Franklin County (Pa.) Commissioners hired Sean E. Crager last week as the new chief information officer for Franklin County government.

Crager has more than 15 years of information-technology experience, including more than seven years of experience as a chief information officer or equivalent roles, according to a news release.

His experience includes processing design/improvement, network and software optimization/upgrades and migrations, the news release states.

Crager holds a bachelor’s degree in geoenvironmental studies from Shippensburg (Pa.) University. He also holds several IT-related certifications.

Crager’s previous position was with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board as assistant chief information officer, according to the release.
