Paul Cecil Kinzer Sr., 87, of Williamsport, Md., passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born Oct. 22, 1924 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Mary Alice Fleck Kinzer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudine Louise Norris Kinzer, in 2007.

He was employed by Pangborn Corporation until retiring in 1986.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II.

He attended Williamsport United Methodist Church, Williamsport.

He was a member of Improved Order of Red Men Tribe 84, Williamsport, and Potomac Post 202 American Legion, Williamsport.

Survivors include daughter, Brenda L. Sterling and her husband, Ralph, of Williamsport; daughter, Judy E. Ramer and her husband, Terry, of Funkstown, Md.; daughter, Tina L. May and her husband, Michael, of Halfway, Md.; son, Paul C. Kinzer Jr. of Fairplay, Md.; son, Thomas B. Kinzer and his wife, Joyce, of Hagerstown, Md.; son, Terry L. Kinzer and his wife, Debbie, of Williamsport; son, Gregory S. Kinzer and his wife, Donna, of Williamsport; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Marsha Kinzer; three sisters, Marion Mitchell, Dorothy Hendrickson and Helen Kerns; and two brothers, Benjamin E. Kinzer Jr. and Joseph M. Kinzer.

The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Friday, June 8, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral home will be open after noon Friday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Susan E. Boehl officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport. Military graveside services will be provided by Marine Corps League of Hagerstown.
