Recorded books artist to lecture June 20 at Boonsboro branch library

BOONSBORO — Join recorded books artist Johnny Heller for “The Johnny Heller Audiobook Experience,” a humorous performance/lecture on the making of an audiobook at the Boonsboro branch library on Wednesday, June 20, beginning at 6 p.m.

Heller has narrated hundreds of books including titles for adults, young adults and children. He has been nominated for Audie Awards multiple times, and won the 2005 and 2009 Audie Award.

Publishers Weekly named him a 2008 Listen Up winner. Audiofile Magazine named him a Best Voice of 2008 and 2009, and one of the top 50 voices of the 20th Century. He is a multiple Golden Earphone Award winner.
