Tri-State students named to Bucknell dean's list

Bucknell University has released the dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2011-12 academic year.

A student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition. Area students who met this standard are:

Ronjohn F. Dadd IV, Ijamsville, Md., son of Ronald and Cari Dadd of Ijamsville, Md., and a 2009 graduate of Urbana High School, Ijamsville, Md.

Sara E. Francomacaro, Sykesville, Md., daughter of Arthur and Diane Francomacaro of Eldersburg, Md., and a 2010 graduate of Liberty High School.

Maria D. Jones, Hagerstown, daughter of Jeffrey and Patricia Jones of Hagerstown, and a 2011 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School.

Jasmine B. King, Waynesboro, Pa., daughter of Tammy King-Harvey and Johnnie Harvey of Hinesville, Ga., and a 2011 graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School.

Joseph M. Meyer, Sykesville, son of John and Dina Meyer of Sykesville and a 2010 graduate of McDonogh School, Owings Mills, Md.

Gretchen E. Schoeck, Hagerstown, daughter of Vincent and Teresa Schoeck of Hagerstown and a 2008 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.

Megan F. Snider, Chambersburg, Pa., daughter of Kevin Snider and Laura Pheil of Chambersburg, and a 2010 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.

Natasha N. Sukerkar, Chambersburg, daughter of Niteen and Prarthana Sukerkar of Chambersburg and a 2008 graduate of Mercersburg Academy, Mercersburg, Pa.

Audrey E. Tolbert, Shippensburg, Pa., daughter of Douglas and Christine Tolbert of Shippensburg and a 2011 graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School.

Hannah S. Young, McConnellsburg, Pa., daughter of Steven and Tamela Young of McConnellsburg and a 2010 graduate of Broadfording Christian Academy, Hagerstown.
