2. Arts and crafts

Mountain Heritage Arts and Crafts Festiva will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, June 8, through Sunday, June 10, Sam Michaels Park, off U.S. 340, between Harpers Ferry and Charles Town, W.Va. Artisans will demonstrate their works such as pottery, basket making, weaving, painting and glass blowing. Activities for children. Music by Patent Pending, Bill Emerson and The Sweet Dixie Band, The Hillbilly Gypsies and David Davis and Warrior River Boys. $7; $4, ages 6 to 17. Scoops & Wickets Family Fun Day will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Brook Lane campus, 13218 Brook Lane Road, off Leitersburg-Smithsburg Road, Hagerstown.
