Vacation Bible school planned at church
Salem Reformed Church, at 13182 Salem Church Road in Hagerstown, will host a joint Bible school with Broadfording Church.
The Bible school will be held on two days, Friday, June 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. and Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Lunch will be served on Saturday.
This year’s theme will be “Daniel.”
There will be Bible lessons, crafts and games for those ages 3 through the sixth grade. The theme for adults will be “Family Matters.”

Bonanza planned
Hagerstown Elks Lodge 378, at 11063 Robinwood Drive in Hagerstown, will hold a money bonanza Sunday, June 10, for members and their guests.
The doors will open at 11 a.m. There will be 31 cash prizes and the grand prize will be $3,000. Proceeds from the event will go toward local youth and veterans programs, and scholarships.
