The "Grow It, Eat It, Preserve It" workshop continues its series.
The workshop, on pickling, is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, Washington County Agricultural Education Center's Multi-Purpose Building, off Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown. In this session, participants will learn the types of pickled products that can be preserved at home, the pickling process, ingredients needed, the necessary equipment and supplies, and the basic steps of water bath canning. Participants will spend time in the kitchen preparing and canning a pickled food.
The cost is $35 per person. Registration deadline is Friday, June 15.

- Tuesday, July 10 — tomatoes and salsa
- Tuesday, Aug. 14 — pressure canning
- Tuesday, Sept. 18 — fruitful canning.
