SMITHSBURG — Two men were taken to Meritus Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries Sunday after separate motorcycle accidents on Foxville Road, southeast of Smithsburg, according to Washington County Emergency Services.
Both were single-vehicle accidents, a 911 dispatcher said.
The first accident occurred at the intersection of Foxville Road and Jefferson Boulevard, and was reported at 10:49 a.m. Sunday, a 911 dispatcher said.
The motorcyclist in the second accident, reported at 1:36 p.m. Sunday, had a leg injury, the dispatcher said.
That accident occurred on a hill near a sharp curve on Foxville Road, near Labrador Lane.
