Original film by Grace Academy students, staff to be shown Tuesday

May 21, 2012

An original film produced and performed by Grace Academy students and faculty will be shown Tuesday at Leitersburg Cinemas at 6:30 p.m.

The movie is titled “I Saw The Light.”

Everything is going just as planned for Thomas Johnathan Wright until a little girl’s miraculous story changes his life forever. Thomas learns that life’s choices can be narrowed down to just one ... life or death.

“It was quite an undertaking, but the students who performed, filmed and edited the movie did a phenomenal job within a short amount of time,” said Lori Boutieller, performing arts teacher and writer and producer.

Tickets for the movie cost $7 at the door. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $5 by picking them up at Grace Academy, at 13321 Cearfoss Pike in Hagerstown. The movie will be shown at Leitersburg Cinemas, but questions concerning the event should be directed to the school.
