Two Bulldog Federal Credit Union members recently were awarded $500 scholarships by David Barrett, credit union president and chairman of the scholarship committee.
The winners are North Hagerstown High School’s Erika D. Kline and South Hagerstown High School’s Sean M. Przywieczerski.
Kline is active in cross country, basketball and student government, as well as the Philosophy, Environmental, Calculus and Key clubs, She is a National Honor Society member with a 4.21 grade-point average.
Kline plans to pursue a degree in psychology, possibly at the University of Pittsburgh, and hopes to become a teacher and psychiatrist.
Przywieczerski is active in cross country and varsity baseball, and is a church usher, avid tutor and Honors Club member. He holds a 3.9 grade-point average and is ranked in the top 5 percent of his graduating class.
Przywieczerski plans to attend the University of Maryland in College Park and major in engineering.
Bulldog Federal Credit Union awards the scholarships each year to a male and female member who display high scholastic achievement and character, involvement in extracurricular and community activities, and financial need.
